Entry Requirements
There is no prerequisite program before enrolling in this Cert 3 electrotechnology qualification although to be eligible participants must be :
A minimum age of 16 is required for students.
Applicants need to be involved in an Electrical Apprenticeship at Building Institute NSW.
Must be registered as an Apprentice with a chosen employer and have a Delta number designating Building Institute NSW as the selected training provider.
Recommended completion of at least Year 11 or equivalent.
English and Math Requirements: Minimum Year 10 proficiency in both subjects is necessary.
Before enrollment, a literacy and numeracy assessment, along with a pre-training interview, is mandatory.
These assessments aid in determining course suitability, verifying the training plan, and identifying any learning support needs.
Completing Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician is a prerequisite for obtaining Energy Safe Victoria's Electrician's Licence.
